Browsing and searching

You can read the guides without creating an account. The website's search and topic filter run in your browser using the guide information already on the page. Search terms are not sent to a search service by this site's code and are not saved by us in browser storage.

Cookies and embedded services

This website's application code does not set cookies or use advertising trackers or analytics. Images, scripts and styles are served as local website files; there are no embedded social feeds or remotely loaded web fonts. A hosting provider or security layer may process connection information, and a separately hosted preview may have its own access controls.

Hosting information

When your browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure receives connection details such as the requested address and your IP address. Hosting logs and security controls depend on the service used to run the site. This policy does not claim that the site operator has disabled every infrastructure log.

Email enquiries

If you email dave@davequick.co.uk, your email provider and the receiving mail service process the message. Your address and any information you include are used to read and respond to your enquiry. Avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information. We do not promise a fixed deletion period that has not been established.

Links to other websites

Some guides link to manufacturer instructions or other useful resources. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Following a link leaves DaveQuick; it does not share your local search history through any feature implemented here.
